Shallow Water Barge Type: Storage Barge Primary Use: Nearshore/Inland Use: Additional storage for shallow water skimmers. Transport recovered oil. Combustible Grade D and Grade E hydrocarbon spills. Lakes, bays, rivers, and other calm waters. Description: USCG-approved 250 barrel storage barge that can be towed to spill site for additional storage. Shallow water barges are primarily used with Marco and Egmopol shallow water skimmers and 46' Vessels.
