Houma Base Training Facility
Use:
Conduct training classes for oil spill
response for member company personnel.
May be used as a Forward Command Center for member company personnel
in an actual event.
Description: The 26’ x 28’ main training room is
equipped with tables and chairs for
40 persons, white boards on 3 walls,
and overhead and 35mm slide projectors.
A computer and computer projector are available. The computer is connected
to the Internet over a 128KBS dedicated
data circuit. There is also an 8-port
LAN hub, which provides additional
connectivity for laptops. Telephone
service consists
of 10 multi-line telephones with
access to 7 outside lines.
